The EMAR summer camp was my first ever training camp and it has set the bar unbelievably high. From the moment I met up with team at the airport to the very last coach journey the sense of excitement and solidarity was almost tangible.
I was amazed at how the camp pushed me to my physical limits whilst still feeling like a holiday. The natural beauty of Sandanski and the mountains was the perfect backdrop to forget about London’s concrete jungle. The coaching didn’t just teach new combinations and techniques it went much deeper, teaching me the importance of nature, perseverance and discipline.
I want to thank Sensei Simeon and everyone else who made this camp possible for giving me a gift that will stay with me forever.
