Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer semi-private and family private classes?2023-04-06T17:02:51+00:00

Yes, we offer semi private training sessions, as well as family private sessions. Classes can be done at our boutique private gym or at your place, at a time convenient for you

Is There a Minimum Commitment?2023-04-06T17:02:35+00:00

No. You can stop any time you want. Obviously the longer you train the better results you’ll get. It takes time for the body and mind to change so patience and consistency is the key to success.

If I trained once a week with a personal trainer would that session be enough or would I need to do more exercise outside seeing the trainer?2023-04-06T17:02:18+00:00

Yes, you would need to do more exercise in addition to seeing your personal trainer. One session a week without doing any extra work yourself will get minimal results. If you want big results then you have to put in the work yourself, however we are on hand to give advice for the best way to achieve the results.

Is personal training suitable for everyone?2023-04-06T17:02:00+00:00

Yes. No matter what your sex, age or fitness level, everyone can benefit from a personal trainer, from a complete beginner needing advice on proper exercises or help with nutrition, to a regular exerciser needing professional knowledge on improving the efficacy of their training, to athletes wanting to fine-tune their movements, or improve strength and conditioning for an improved lifestyle.

Will my Personal Trainer ask questions about my lifestyle?2023-04-06T17:01:39+00:00

The nature of personal training is such that it incorporates your needs, goals and preferences. The trainer will need to ask some initial questions during the consultation, which gauge the demands placed on you by your job and lifestyle. Typically, the first session will include questions about: basic personal details, medical background, fitness background, lifestyle factors (e.g., smoking/drinking), nutritional habits (you may be asked to keep a diary), personal goals, and fitness objectives.
